Whitemarz Farm LLC is a small 1 acre farm in Lunenburg, Massachusetts we grow vegetables, flowers and mushrooms. Our mission is to be a sustainable, regenerative and profitable business through using healthy farming practices and producing high quality local produce.
To increase and externalize values of fairness and equity, we strive to provide an expanding variety of healthy food choices for our planet.
About Whitemarz Farm
At Whitemarz Farm we use sustainable practices to produce all of our veggies and we offer them through local farmers markets, CSA’s and wholesale accounts.
We use farming practices centered around ecosystem health. We strive to farm alongside nature and to encourage biological diversity below and above the soil. We use practices like composting, organic mulching, organic fertilizers, cover cropping, and intercropping to care for the land. We believe that an equitable food system can only be built from sustainable and environmentally just growing practices.

We are now hiring field crew members for the 2026 season!
Positions and Timelines:
We have 1 field crew positions available:

1 positions from May – October
Schedule:
Seasonal position: average 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities and Expectations:
-
Involvement in all aspects of the farm, including: greenhouse seeding, transplanting, high tunnel work, field preparation, composting, mulching, cultivation, harvest, pest management, washing and packing produce.
Qualifications:
-
One year or more of farming experience.

Positive and compassionate attitude towards colleagues and all farm visitors.

Desire to learn and be curious.

Exceptional work ethic, reliability, and punctuality.

Excellent communication and listening skills.
-
Willingness to work outside in all weather conditions.

Interest in and/or experience with sustainable farming practices.

Ability to work with a team and independently.
-
Ability to lift 40-50 pounds and perform repetitive physically taxing tasks.

Satisfactory background and reference checks.
-
A valid driver’s license.
-
Cell phone communication.
-
Reliable transportation.
Please note that having your own means of transportation is strongly encouraged, as we are unfortunately not located close to public transport.
Compensation:
